Lose Weight in a Week – How Much?

While researching topics for a post, I ran across this advice page on How to Loose Weight in a Week — up to 10 pounds.

Basically it is advising increasing water and fiber.

The water intake is supposed to rev up your metabolism as well as “tell” your body to stop retaining water. When your body realizes there’s enough water, it will release any water it is retaining.

The fiber is supposed to help clear out old, toxic waste in your intestines. It was stated you can have up to 20 pounds of old crud hanging around – yuck!

Loose Weight In A Week site advises to eat high fiber foods like split pea soup before eating your meal.

I tried eating the split pea soup before lunch and dinner — but couldn’t quite “stomach” it LOL — I’m not much of a fan of it.
